A creative experiment: a local-first, Markdown-based writing environment with an AI collaborator built in. Not a chatbot that writes for you — a tool where AI understands your voice, tracks continuity across the project, and offers feedback through distinct roles: editor, voice guardian, continuity tracker, proofreader. Style fingerprinting so the AI learns how you write; semantic version control so you can explore structure without losing your way. Privacy-first: everything stays on your machine.

Problem space

Existing writing tools either ignore AI or bolt on generic assistants that don’t understand tone, structure, or the shape of long-form work. Writers want help that respects their voice and helps them see the big picture without taking over.
